Announcing this, Sajjan Jindal, Chairman and MD of JSW Group, said that the company will honour every Olympic medalist of India by presenting them with a new MG Windsor EV (electric car).

This car is going to be launched in India soon. MG Motor India recently announced (Paris Olympics 2024) that its upcoming all-electric crossover will be named Windsor EV.

An attempt has been made to give MG Windsor EV the practicality of an SUV with sedan-like comfort and space. It will be placed between ZS EV and Comet EV.

JSW Group Chairman and MD Sajjan Jindal posted on X saying, “Happy to announce that every Olympic medal winner of Team India will be gifted a great car MG Windsor from JSW MG India, because our best deserve the best for their dedication and success.”

The battery and range of the car are special

The new MG Windsor EV was introduced with two battery packs, one of which will be a 37.9kWh battery pack, this car can cover a distance of 360 km in a single charge.

While the second can be a 50.6kWh battery pack which will cover a distance of 460 km. In India, it will compete with electric cars like Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.

The new car will be special

The new Windsor EV will offer the fun of both sedan and SUV. Those who are looking for a utility car may like the new Windsor EV.

Its comfort will be taken care of completely. Not only this, there will be no shortage of space in it. In terms of design, this is going to be a very stylish car.

What will be the price of the car

If we talk about the price of this car, then it will be placed between Comet and ZS EV. This electric car, which is likely to be launched in September, can be priced between Rs 15 to 20 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, it will compete directly with Electric SUVs like Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
