WhatsApp like Reaction feature
The latest report by WABetainfo, a website that keeps an eye on the upcoming features of WhatsApp, has revealed that WhatsApp is rolling out the like reaction feature. Many users are getting this feature with the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.17.21 update available on the Google Play Store.
However, at present the company has rolled it out for some selected beta users. In the coming time, it will be brought for all the other users.
Where will you find the Like button?
According to the screenshot given in the report, now beta users will be able to react by liking the status updates posted by their contacts on WhatsApp. For this, they will find the Like button i.e. heart button on the right side of the reply option. On clicking this, the contact will get a notification that someone has liked their status. A list of all the users who have liked the status will also be created. This will make it easy to see who all have liked your status.
This feature will be rolled out for all WhatsApp users in the coming time. Currently, it is available only for beta as a testing. With its help, now users will be able to easily react to statuses in less time without replying.
