According to the latest report of Wabetainfo, WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.18.2 update has revealed information about WhatsApp’s two new security features Username and PIN. Talking about the username feature, this feature will work just like Instagram’s username feature. Under this feature, WhatsApp users can create a username on WhatsApp. You will be able to chat on WhatsApp with any person with whom you do not want to share your phone number by giving them your username.
WhatsApp PIN
Talking about the PIN code feature, it will provide a high level of security in your WhatsApp chat. For this, you have to create a 4 digit PIN and then share that PIN with your contacts. In such a situation, whenever a person wants to send you a WhatsApp message for the first time through the username, he will first have to unlock the WhatsApp chat by entering that PIN.
