Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya got divorced in 2021 after being married for four years. They both agreed to separate kindly.

But there was a lot of talk about money they might get after the divorce. Samantha was offered some money called alimony, but she said no to it. Some people said she was offered 50 crore rupees but didn’t want it because she was upset and just wanted love and friendship, not money.

Naga Chaitanya talked about his divorce from Samantha on a podcast. He said they decided to go their own ways because it was best for everyone.

He asked people to respect their privacy and stop talking about it all the time. Chaitanya also shared that he understands how hard divorce can be because he grew up in a family that broke apart.

He said both he and Samantha have moved on happily. Chaitanya recently got married again to Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024.

Samantha explained in an interview that she did not take any money from Naga Chaitanya or anyone else. The stories about her getting 200 crore rupees are not true. Both of them have moved on with their lives, and their separation was friendly and respectful, not because of money or fighting.

But now, some friends who know both of them say that this story isn’t true. They said that Samantha did not get any money like that. Naga Chaitanya also said that they chose to separate because they both wanted to, and they still respect each other.
