5 Bold Statements Modi Made to Trump in 35-Minute Call

5 Bold Statements Modi Made to Trump in 35-Minute Call

Near the end of their talk, President Trump asked Modi if he could visit the U.S. for a short visit when he was coming back from Canada.

Modi politely said no because he had other important plans he couldn’t change. But he said he would like to visit sometime in the future when it’s easier for him. Modi also made it clear that India and the U.S. are not talking about trade plans or asking the U.S. to help with peace talks between India and Pakistan.

India prefers to solve problems directly with Pakistan without help from other countries. This phone call shows that India and the U.S. are working together and respecting each other, especially on important issues like fighting terrorism and keeping peace in the region.

During their chat, Modi said that India sees terrorism as a big war and not just a small problem. He told Trump that India is ready to respond strongly if anyone tries to attack them. He also said that Operation Sindoor is still happening and hasn’t finished yet.

On Wednesday, the leader of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, talked on the phone with the leader of the United States, President Donald Trump. This call happened just a little while before President Trump was going to meet with a top military leader from Pakistan. They talked mainly about stopping bad people who do terrorism, which is hurting innocent people in the region.

He explained that India and Pakistan are talking to each other about calming the situation, and they are doing this through official military channels, which means using proper and official ways to communicate. First, Prime Minister Modi told President Trump about a special operation called Operation Sindoor.

This was started after a recent attack in a place called Pahalgam. Modi explained that India is serious about fighting terrorism and is trying to tell the world that they will do everything possible to stop these bad acts. Last month, India also talked to many countries to explain how important it is to fight terrorism.
