While Anant was in Haridwar, he told the Ganga Sabha members that he would help them whenever they needed.

The members thanked the Ambani family very much and prayed for their happiness and success. This money is meant to help make Har Ki Pauri a better place, maybe by fixing things or building new things. After their visit, Anant invited a Ganga Sabha leader named Tanmay Vashisht to come to Mumbai, which is a big city.

They met at Anant’s house called Antilia. They talked about the Ganga river, the work being done at Har Ki Pauri, and plans for the future. Vashisht said that the Ambani family cares a lot about spiritual and religious places and feels connected to the sacred Ganga river.

Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani have a young son named Anant Ambani. Anant gave a big gift of 5 crore rupees (which is a lot of money) to a group called the Ganga Sabha. This group takes care of a special and very famous place called Har Ki Pauri, which is a special spot on the river Ganga in a holy city called Haridwar.

Anant, his dad Mukesh, and his wife were visiting many religious places in India. When they stopped at Har Ki Pauri, Anant looked at the work the Ganga Sabha was doing and decided to help them with money.

A few years earlier, in 2020, Anant also gave 5 crore rupees to help some special temples in Uttarakhand that had lost money because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown.
