Capcom, the company that makes the scary Resident Evil games, has announced a brand new game for phones.

But this new game isn’t like the usual scary adventure games; it’s a special kind called a strategy game, where players plan and make choices on their phones.

The game is called Resident Evil: Survival Unit, and it’s being made by some other companies too, named JoyCity and Aniplex. They haven’t shown everything yet, but they will share more about the game on July 10th. Then, players will see how it plays and learn when it will be ready to play.

They showed a little teaser at a big event called Anime Expo in Los Angeles, where they told people that this new game is coming soon.

The game will be available on iPhones and Android phones. It’s a different style of game from the usual Resident Evil stories, and it might be fun to try out. Also, fans of Resident Evil can get excited for a new game coming out in February 2026 called Resident Evil Requiem.

This new story will take place in a city called Raccoon City, which has been damaged by a big explosion, and it will have a new hero named Grace Ashcroft.
