Action taken on Vikas Divyakirti’s Drishti IAS

Drishti IAS: After the incident at Rao Coaching Centre in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, the Municipal Corporation is continuously in action. Vikas Divyakirti’s Drishti IAS in Nehru Vihar has been sealed. Classes were going on in the basement of the coaching centre, so MCD took action.

What did MCD say?

MCD says that during the survey, coaching was going on in the combined basement of Tower No. 1, 2 and 3 of Nehru Vihar, Delhi, which has been sealed. Using the basement for coaching/teaching purpose is a violation of building rules. Therefore, Drishti IAS has been sealed.

13 coaching centres were sealed on Sunday

On Sunday too, the Delhi Municipal Corporation had sealed 13 coaching centres running illegally in the basement. Along with this, notices were also pasted on them.

Action was taken till late Sunday night

Delhi Municipal Corporation officials reached several coaching centres in Rajendra Nagar area. Action was taken after investigation. Mayor Shaili Oberoi said that MCD has started the process of sealing all the coaching centres in Rajendra Nagar which are being run in violation of rules in the basement. If needed, this campaign will be run in the whole of Delhi. 13 coaching centres were sealed till late Sunday night.
