A 19-year-old girl named Sneha Debnath, who went missing for six days, was found dead in the Yamuna River near Geeta Colony. Sneha was from Tripura and lived in south Delhi. She was last seen or heard from on July 7.
On that morning, Sneha told her mother she was going to drop her friend at the train station for a 6:45 am train. But she didn’t meet her friend, and when her family tried to call her later, her phone was turned off.
Later, they found out she took a taxi to a place called Signature Bridge, which is a spot where some people go if they want to hurt themselves because there are no cameras there. The taxi driver said he dropped her near the bridge.

The police and rescue teams searched a big area around the river, looking for her. Some people saw a girl on the bridge that morning, but no one was sure if it was Sneha. Eventually, her body was found in the river under the Geeta Colony flyover, and the police confirmed it was her.
Her family is worried and sad because she didn’t use her bank account in months and left her things behind.
This makes everyone wonder why she felt so sad and alone. Sneha Debnath was a young woman from Tripura who went to college in Delhi.
One day, she went missing. After some time, her family found a note she wrote. In the note, Sneha said she felt like she wasn’t good enough and that she was a burden.
She also wrote that life was too hard for her and that she decided to jump off a big bridge called Signature Bridge to end her life. She said she made this decision herself and there was no one else involved.
Sneha last talked to her family in the morning before she went missing. She told them she was going to meet her friend at a train station.
But later, her phone was turned off, and her family couldn’t find her. They found out she was near the Signature Bridge, but there isn’t enough camera footage to see what happened next. Despite searching, Sneha hasn’t been found yet.
