During the 3-day Kabaddi competition held at Dr. Bhimrao Sports Stadium in Saharanpur, UP, the players were forced to eat food cooked inside the toilet. In a hurry, the Regional Sports Officer of Saharanpur, Animesh Saxena was suspended.

Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh- During the kabaddi competition held at Dr. Bhimrao Sports Stadium in Saharanpur, the players were fed food kept inside the lunch in toilet. It was becoming difficult to even stand there because of the foul smell.

Undercooked rice was served to the players for lunch. Many players did not even get bread. A video of this has also surfaced.

The administration says that food items were kept in the changing room at the same level as the swimming bridge, because construction work is going on all around the stadium.

When the matter started gaining momentum, Saharanpur Regional Sports Officer Animesh Saxena was suspended. The District Magistrate has also ordered an inquiry into it.

Let us tell you that more than 300 players participated in the Under-17 State Level Kabaddi Tournament which lasted for 3 days from 16 September. Under-17 Junior Girls Kabaddi Competition was organized by Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi Association. Which was hosted by district Saharanpur this time.
