The Google Play Store has been upgraded, allowing users to update multiple apps simultaneously, saving time. Previously, the platform supported downloading two apps at once, but only one app could be updated at a time.
For the past several months, tech giant Google has been continuously working to improve and make the Play Store more convenient. Recently, they introduced the ability to download multiple apps at once. Now, users can update several apps simultaneously. This new feature reduces the time needed for updates, making it much more efficient.
How many apps can be updated?
With the updated Google Play Store, users can now update three mobile apps at the same time. This will save time, allowing more apps to be updated quickly. Users won’t have to wait as long for their applications to update.
How this feature works
As shown in the screenshot above, users can go to the Play Store and click on “Update All” to start updating apps. The first three apps will begin updating, while the fourth app will show as ‘Pending’ until the first three are updated.
Feature rollout
This new feature is gradually being rolled out to users worldwide. Some users, including us, have already received it, although Google has yet to make an official announcement.
Additionally, Google is planning to introduce another feature to the Play Store. This feature will allow users to re-scan apps with detected issues without uninstalling them. The feature is currently being tested and is expected to be released globally by the end of this year.
