But their first game didn’t go as well as they hoped. India lost the first match by five wickets at Headingley in Leeds. The Indian players did a good job batting, with five players scoring over 100 runs, including Rishabh Pant who scored two big hundreds.

However, their bowling, which is when players try to get the other team out, wasn’t very strong. Jasprit Bumrah was the best bowler in the second part of the game, taking five wickets, but he didn’t get much help from other bowlers.
