Indian Women’s Blind cricket team created history by winning against Australia in the IBSA World Games. Indian women’s blind cricket team won the final against Australia by 9 wickets. With this win, Team India won the gold medal at the IBSA World Games.
Indian women’s cricket team showed their strong performance at the tournament. They won the first match of the tournament against Australia by 8 wickets. After that, Team India defeated England. The third match of the Indian team was also against Australia. India had a strong victory in that match too.
Australia scored 114 runs for 8 wickets in the 20-over game scheduled for the final. After that, when the rain started, India faced a target of only 42 runs. So team India won the gold medal by scoring 43 runs for 1 wicket in 3.3 overs. Not only that, Team India managed to win the gold medal in the IBSA World Games for the first time.
