Raj Thackeray: ‘Patak patak ke maarenge’

Basically, they were arguing about who should speak what language and whether it’s okay to fight or hit people who speak different languages. Nishikant Dubey told Raj Thackeray that fighting and being mean isn’t the right way, and he shouldn’t just pick on people based on their language.

Some political leaders in India were talking about a big election in Mumbai, a city in India. One leader named Raj Thackeray told his friends to be tough and to hit or push people who don’t speak Marathi, which is a language people speak in Maharashtra (a place in India).

He said they shouldn’t record videos of these fights. Another leader named Nishikant Dubey didn’t like what Raj Thackeray said. He told him, “If you are so brave, come out of Maharashtra and try to hit people in other places like Bihar or Tamil Nadu.”

He also said that some big companies like Tata and Reliance started their businesses in Maharashtra but don’t only belong there. He challenged Raj Thackeray to also hit people who speak other languages like Urdu, Tamil, or Telugu, not just Marathi.
