PM Modi’s 5 Nation Tour: Secrets and Surprises

In Argentina, Mr. Modi will meet Argentina’s President for the first full meeting. They will talk about defense, rare minerals, farming, energy, and trade. They will also talk about fighting terrorism that crosses borders.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit five countries from July 2 to 9: Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia. During his trip, he will focus on topics like defense, special minerals called rare earth minerals, working together to fight terrorism, and helping countries in the South (like those in Africa and Latin America) cooperate more.

Other important meetings will include discussions on security and business, with leaders and important organizations working together. India will also get to lead BRICS in 2026. In Brazil, India and Brazil plan to work together on making defense equipment, like secure communication systems, ships to patrol the oceans, submarines, and missile defense systems.

When Mr. Modi visits Brazil from July 5 to 8, he will meet leaders in Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia to talk about these plans. A big event will be the BRICS summit on July 6, where leaders will discuss fixing global rules, peace, security, the environment, health, economics, and new technologies like Artificial Intelligence.

Before going to Argentina, Mr. Modi will visit Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago on July 2-4. After Argentina, he will go to Namibia, where he will honor a hero named Sam Nujoma who helped Namibia become independent.

During his visit there, India and Namibia might sign an agreement to make paying for things easier between their countries.
