Vodafone Idea (Vi) Reduces Validity on Two Prepaid Plans

Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third-largest telecom company in India, has made changes to the validity of two of its popular prepaid plans, priced at ₹479 and ₹666. While the company is known for offering a variety of attractive plans to expand its customer base, this time it has delivered a surprise to its existing users. Instead of increasing prices like many other telecom operators did in July, Vi has reduced the benefits by shortening the validity periods of these plans.

Reduced Validity on Vi Prepaid Plans

The ₹479 plan, which previously offered 56 days of validity, now provides only 48 days. Similarly, the ₹666 plan’s validity has been reduced from 77 days to 64 days.

Details of Vi’s ₹479 Plan

The revised ₹479 plan now offers 48 days of validity. It includes 1GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 free SMS per day.

Details of Vi’s ₹666 Plan

The updated ₹666 plan offers 64 days of validity with 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 free SMS per day. This plan also comes with Vi Hero benefits, which include weekend data rollover and unlimited night data usage between 12 am and 6 am.

With the weekend data rollover feature, users can carry forward unused data from Monday to Friday for use on the weekend. Additionally, the unlimited night binge feature allows for unrestricted data usage during late-night hours at no extra cost.
