The test happened during a competition in Jordan on July 19, 2023. Because of this, Jaskaran was told he couldn’t compete anymore for three years, from July 19, 2023, until July 18, 2026.

Normally, if someone is caught cheating, they might be banned for four years, but since Jaskaran admitted to using the banned substance early, his ban was reduced by one year.
