Tragic Loss: Mukul Dev, Beloved Actor-Model, Dies at 54

Mukul was born on September 17, 1970, in New Delhi. His family was Punjabi, and he also had some family roots from Afghanistan because his dad, Hari Dev, was a police officer.

Mukul could speak Pashto and Persian languages. When he was in eighth grade, he first started performing by copying singer Michael Jackson on TV, and that was his first paid job.

Actor Mukul Dev passed away on May 23, 2025, when he was 54 years old. He had been feeling sick and was in the hospital’s intensive care unit, but people haven’t shared exactly how he died.

His friends and family are very sad about losing him so suddenly. Actress Deepshikha Nagpal and Vindu Dara Singh have shared heartfelt messages to remember him.

Mukul began acting in 1996 with a TV show called Mumkin and also appeared in his first Bollywood movie called Dastak that same year.

He acted in more than 60 movies in many languages like Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu. Some of his popular movies are Son of Sardaar, R… Rajkumar, and Jai Ho. His last movie was called Anth The End in 2022, which was a mystery story.

On TV, he last appeared in a show called 21 Sarfarosh in 2018, and he was also in a web series called State of Siege: 26/11 in 2020. Mukul Dev left behind many memories of his work in movies and TV that people will always remember.

Before he became an actor, Mukul trained to fly airplanes at a special school called the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi. He even worked as a commercial pilot for nearly ten years.

Later, he decided to become an actor and also started a school to teach flying. His journey from flying planes to acting in movies and TV shows is very unique.
