He’s also upset with the leaders of Los Angeles, saying they didn’t do a good job handling the protests and violence happening there. In response, President Trump sent in the National Guard, which is a group of soldiers who help keep order.

Some of these officers made arrests in different parts of the city, which made many people angry. On Friday and Saturday, lots of people gathered to protest, and some of them were upset about how the arrests were done. The protests got very loud and even turned into fights at times.
