On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was traveling in a big group of cars called a convoy during a road trip in Bhubaneswar. As they were driving, an ambulance with an emergency patient was coming behind them.
The convoy slowed down and made space so the ambulance could pass easily. People watching from the sides of the road saw this happen. Prime Minister Modi was going to a special event to celebrate one year of the government in Odisha.
Many people had gathered along the road to see him because he is a very important leader. On this trip to Odisha, Prime Minister Modi also spoke strongly against another political party called Congress. He said that Congress has been unfair to tribal communities, keeping them poor and calling their areas “red corridor” just to score political points.
This isn’t the first time Prime Minister Modi has stopped his cars to let an ambulance go by. Before, in November 2022, he did the same thing in Himachal Pradesh. And in September 2022, he stopped his convoy in Gujarat to let an ambulance pass safely.
