WhatsApp keeps on bringing new updates every day. According to the report, this time the edit button is working. WABetaInfo shared a screenshot. The screenshot shows that WhatsApp will also show a tag to check whether the message has been edited or not.
Let us tell you that right now users have only two options to rectify their mistake. Either send the message by quoting it correctly with a star or delete the wrong message and send it again. With the introduction of this feature, the message on WhatsApp can be edited directly, which will give a lot of convenience to the users.
It is worth noting that WhatsApp keeps on testing new features, but there is no guarantee when they will come. The edit feature for messages has been seen in version 2.22.2 0.12 of WhatsApp’s Android beta update. Soon this feature may also come on the beta version of iOS.
Apart from this, WhatsApp has added some new features to the platform just a few weeks ago. Now you get up to two days to delete the message and up to 512 people can be added to the groups. Apart from this, files up to 2 GB can be sent from WhatsApp.
