Why was India vs Pakistan WCL match cancelled?

There was a big cricket game planned between India and Pakistan in a tournament called the World Championship of Legends.

It was supposed to happen in Birmingham, England, on July 20. But before the game, many Indian players decided not to play anymore.

They pulled out of the match because of problems and disagreements between India and Pakistan, especially after a sad event in April where some people were hurt. Because so many players didn’t want to play, the organizers canceled the game.

The players who chose not to play included famous cricketers like Harbhajan Singh, the Pathan brothers, and Shikhar Dhawan.

Some of these players said they didn’t feel it was right to play because of what had happened between the two countries recently.

The match was called off, and now the teams won’t play against each other in this tournament.

Because of all these feelings and problems, the tournament organizers decided to cancel the game so everyone doesn’t get upset or hurt. Some people were upset about a big cricket game planned between India and Pakistan at a tournament called the World Championship of Legends in 2025.

Because many people didn’t like the idea of these two countries playing each other, the organizers decided to cancel the game. They said sorry to the people who were upset. One of the companies that helped pay for the tournament, called EaseMyTrip, said they had already made it clear they wouldn’t support any matches involving Pakistan.

They said they only support India and wouldn’t take part in any game with Pakistan. There had been some bad events between the two countries, like a scary attack where many tourists were hurt, which made more people want to stop supporting Pakistan.

When news spread that Indian players might play against Pakistan, lots of fans on social media asked the Indian players not to play.
