Block unknown accounts messages feature

The latest leaked report of Wabetainfo has informed that this new feature has been revealed through WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.17.24 update. If the report is to be believed, the Block unknown accounts messages feature will be rolled out on WhatsApp soon. This feature will work to block messages coming from unknown accounts. Through this feature, the privacy and security of WhatsApp users is going to be strengthened more than before. Apart from this, you will also get rid of spam messages coming on WhatsApp. After turning on this setting, the problem of quickly filling up storage in your phone will also end.

New feature coming in Advanced settings!

A screenshot of this feature has also been shared in the report. It can be seen in the screenshot that WhatsApp users will get a toggle named Block unknown accounts messages in their Advanced settings in the coming time. After turning on this toggle, WhatsApp will automatically block that account after the number of messages coming from unknown accounts exceeds a certain limit. You will not need to block that account separately.

Currently, this feature is in the development stage. It can be expected that the instant messaging platform will soon roll out this feature for its users.
