Cristiano Ronaldo Confirmed his Future Plans for new season

Ronaldo’s first season in Saudi Arabia has been ended. Al Nassr finishes in second place in the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed in an interview that he will continue with the team next season.

Ronaldo said, “I think the league is very good but I think we have many, many opportunities to still grow. I think the league is competitive. We have very good teams, we have very good Arab and foreign players. The infrastructure I think they need to improve a little bit more. The referees and the VAR system. I think they should be a little bit more quicker. But I am happy here, I want to continue here.”

He added “In my opinion, if they continue to do the work that they want to do, then in the next 5 years I think the Saudi League can be the fifth (top league) in the world,” when asked about his experience of playing in the league.

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi is on the verge of signing a deal with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, according to reports from Saudi media. Other big names that have been linked with the league include 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema and Spanish legend Sergio Ramos, as well FC Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo welcomes all new and old players who are interested in moving to Saudi. He said, “My expectation was a little different, to be honest, I expected to win something this year. But not always things turn up as we want.”
