FVS was first announced in August of this year, and features teams battling it out on an online leaderboard, where their rankings are determined by TCT Team Points. The top 16 teams will be heading to Mumbai in October to compete in the LAN finals

FVS was first announced in August of this year, and features teams battling it out on an online leaderboard, where their rankings are determined by TCT Team Points. The top 16 teams will be heading to Mumbai in October to compete in the LAN finals.
Teams that competed in FVS consisted of four members and one substitute player. The tournament offers a total prize pool of ₹10 lakh, with the winning team receiving ₹5 lakh. Meanwhile, the teams that finish second and third will get ₹3 lakh and ₹2 lakh, respectively.
In addition, the winning team will also get an “exclusive training opportunity” with Orangutan Esports, at ApeCity “the country’s first org-led esports arena located in Navi Mumbai.” Details about registration and qualification pathways will be shared in the coming weeks.
“FAU-G Veer Sangram was designed to identify and elevate India’s best team-based talent,” said Deepak Ail, CEO and co-founder of Dot9 Games. “With a ₹10 lakh prize pool and a training opportunity with Orangutan Esports, we’re building a real pathway from grassroots competition to pro-level play.”
In other news, the finals of FAU-G Bharat League 2.0 took place in April of this year. The tournament drew more than 100 finalists from 28 states and over 70 cities.
