Apple launched its latest iPhone 15 series flagship smartphones last September with several internal and external upgrades. A notable feature among these is the updated action button on the iPhone 15 Pro models, which replaces the mute switch. It can easily perform a few tasks like turning on the flashlight, launching the camera or adding shortcuts to apps. The next-gen iPhone 16 series is expected to launch by September-October next year, which is set to bring some significant design upgrades.
The iPhone 16 Pro model will have a new capture button
A trusted report claims recently that the iPhone 16 series will come with a new dedicated button for capturing video. This new button will be called “Capture Button”. Low-end iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will add the new “Action button”, which is currently seen on the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Apple’s next iPhone 16 series will feature a design similar to the iPhone 15 series. However, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have larger displays than the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Note that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super-Retina XDR OLED displays, respectively. iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, respectively.
Incidentally, some information about the iPhone 16 series has already started leaking online. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will use the A18 Pro Bionic chipset based on the 3-nanometer process, while the regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will have an A17 Pro chip. In addition, the Pro models may come with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and a new ultra-wide camera.
