Pakistani Media made fun of Hindu gods

When the India and Pakistan teams face each other on the cricket field, the clash is seen in the media of both countries. The matches are covered with a big hipe. Asia Cup 2023 saw something similar. The two teams met twice in the tournament. Despite much talk on every platform for these two matches, Pakistani media has been criticized for such a cheap act during a cricket show. Incidentally, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media. This video is from the pre-show of the match between India and Pakistan in the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup. The show features two guests as well as a presenter and a man dressed as a scholar in saffron robes.

A Twitter user wrote, “Pakistani people are making fun of our Sanatan religion by being pundits on a cricket show. Not only cricket matches but all diplomatic relations with Pakistan should be severed. We should send a direct and strong message to Pakistan.” In the one-and-a-half-minute video, the panellist said, “India will win, once again we will end the rain and take points. We submitted many applications and sat and recited many mantras. We have come to Pakistan directly from Sri Lanka to meet you. All our Tantrics and Pandits sitting in Sri Lanka are working on the same.” The panellist added in the video, “We asked God to make it rain one more time. Only rain can save us. Your Shaheen Shah Afridi has ruined Rohit Sharma’s stomach. I saw Shaheen Afridi in Rohit Sharma’s birth chart.”

India and Pakistan met twice in the Asia Cup 2023. In the group stage, the match between the two teams was abandoned due to rain, but in the Super-4 round, Team India humiliated the Pakistan team. This match was also interrupted due to rain, but the game ended on the reserve day. In this match against Pakistan, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored great centuries and Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets.
