The 5G service will be officially launched in India on October 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G network in India during India Mobile Congress. This day has been waiting for a long time.

In India, telecom operators Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are going to start their 5G service soon. The National Broadband Mission’s official Twitter account has tweeted about the launch of 5G service on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Let us tell you that IMC 2022 is the largest technology gathering in Asia. The 5G rollout in India was expected in October as Jio is going to bring 5G service to select cities by Diwali.

5G service will be launched on October 1

Let us inform that the National Broadband Mission had tweeted that, taking India’s digital transformation and connectivity to new heights, Hon’ble Prime Minister will launch 5G service in India at Asia’s largest technology exhibition.

However, this tweet has now been deleted. The roll out of 5G services in India is expected to start soon after PM Modi officially launched the service in India.

Earlier, the official Twitter account of IMC had tweeted that “India Mobile Congress 2022” will be inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. It will be organized from 01 – 04, 2022 at Pragati Maidan.

When will Jio roll out 5G service?

Reliance Industries’ telecom company Jio has already shared the roll out schedule for its 5G services in India. In RIL’s mutual journal meeting, the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani had said that Jio will start rolling out its 5G services in India from this Diwali i.e. October 24.

The company said that its 5G services will be available in metro cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, at launch on October 24. After the official launch, the telecom operator will expand its standalone 5G network to other cities. The service can be rolled out in towns by December 2023.
