3. Seth Rollins vs Brockesnar vs Roman Reigns (Wrestlemania 31)
Seth Rollins became the handpicked future face of WWE when he turned on The Shield. That prophecy was fulfilled as Rollins successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 to become the new WWE World Heavyweight champion.
Lesnar and Roman Reigns were in the middle of a bloody slugfest, with each star kicking out of multiple finishers. Both men were out of it in the ring after Lesnar delivered an F-5 as Rollins ran down to cash in his briefcase.Rollins quickly deposited Reigns to the outside and hit a Curb Stomp on Lesnar. As he lined up another Curb Stomp, Lesnar quickly recovered and was poised to hit an F-5 on Rollins. Then, Reigns recovered to spear Lesnar. Rollins immediately capitalized with one more Curb Stomp on Reigns to win the match .
2. Seth Rollins vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 33)
Late-match spot that saw Rollins use a superkick to blast Triple H, who fell into Stephanie McMahon and knocked her off the apron and through a table, drew a big pop and set Rollins up to deliver a Pedigree and score the pinfall victory over his former mentor. The crowd may not have been the most vocable, burned out after the return of The Hardy Boyz and exhausted by the five hours of wrestling they had already watched, but the story the competitors told and the overall quality of the match they pieced together earned them this spot on the countdown.
1. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins vs. The Miz (WrestleMania 34)
The Miz, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins did battle in a highly entertaining Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Rollins prevailed as IC champion, but all three competitors turned in strong performances on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Balor appeared to have the match won after hitting the Coup de Grace on The Miz. But Rollins intervened and delivered the Blackout to Balor, with Balor’s head hitting The Miz’s back. Rollins then hit the Blackout on Miz before the incumbent champion could get to his feet, which was enough to secure the win .
