Cricket is called a gentleman’s game, cricket is one of the sports that unites two nations together. Some players broke the spirit of cricket on the field. Players play this game full of discipline and manures, but there are some moments when players become aggressive, lost their cool, and started using bad words with other players.

5. Andrew Symonds v Harbhajan Singh

The ‘MonkeyGate’ incident, happened during a test match between India and Australia at the SCG. During India’s innings when Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh were on the crease, both Harbhajan and Symonds were seen having a go at each other. Symonds alleged that Harbhajan had called him a ‘Monkey’ which is a racial slur in the black community.

4. Kieron Pollard and Mitchell Starc:

This incident happened in the 2014 IPL where RCB bowler Mitchell Starc tries to irritate pollard with his bowling. As pollard was not able to play his bowl so when Starc bowled his third ball of the over pollard step out 2 or 3 steps and went toward the square leg and left the ball. But Starc didn’t like and he throws the ball toward pollard. Where pollard lost his cool and throw the bat towards Starc but hopefully the bat didn’t hit Starc. At the end of the match, they both fined 40 and 50 per cent of their match fees.

3. Virat Kohli vs Gautam Gambhir

In an IPL game between RCB and KKR in 2013Virat was batting amazingly well and had smashed a couple of sixes in the ninth over. In the next over, he came down the track and smashed a delivery straight into the hands of the sweeper cover. Kohli was walking back to the pavilion when he saw Gambhir celebrating wildly for his dismissal and also heard something which he didn’t like. Virat instantly started walking towards Gambhir and both of them were seen exchanging a few words before Rajat Bhatia got in the way and separated the two.

2. Gautam Gambhir And Shahid Afridi

This was one of the biggest cricket fights between India and Pakistan. When Gautam Gambhir was batting, he hit the ball towards the third man and run for a single, but between his running, he clashed with Shahid Afridi, and then they both started fighting. Shahid Afridi started giving abusive words and becoming aggressive but after that Umpire comes in between and makes the situation normal.

1. Harbhajan Singh vs Sreesanth:

Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth, two in-form bowlers of the Indian cricket teams, were up against each other during a match between MI and KXIP. after the match, Sreesanth went to Harbhajan Singh and told him ‘Well played’ in a teasing manner, to which Harbhajan got offended and it slapped him.

Sreesanth was seen crying on TV and later it was revealed that Harbhajan had slapped him on his face for the comments he made. Both the cricketers refused to comment on it. Harbhajan Singh was banned from playing for the rest of the season.
