Mitchell Starc has expressed his desire to play in the next IPL. There is a special reason behind it. The Australian left-arm pacer played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL in 2015. After that, despite the huge demand, he withdrew his name for eight consecutive seasons due to various reasons.
In a recent interview, Stark said, “Look, it’s been eight years. I will be back next year in the IPL.” The reason behind this is very clear. Preparing for the T20 World Cup in 2024 in USA and West Indies. Starc said, “It will be a great preparation before the T20 World Cup.”
“The pressure will be low in the coming winter season (Australian winter season). I think the opportunity to put my name there (IPL auction) will be very good.” Starc is currently out of the squad with a groin injury. He could not visit South Africa. However, this left-arm pacer is very important in Australia’s 15-man World Cup team.
