KRAFTON Launches Amateur Esports Platform ‘Battlin’ in India

Battlin now has new tournaments every day. People can look for competitions by game type, time, and how many spots are left. Saving a tournament sends alerts before registration ends. Anyone can join alone or with friends.
The system lets users make a team list, choose roles, and sign up all at once. KRAFTON said, “No more spreadsheets, messy group chats, or chasing organizers for room info.” This makes organizing easier and less annoying. Players can see match times, how to join rooms, live game updates, and final results all in the app.
There are chats for teams and tournaments so organizers can send messages and start match alerts easily. Rewards are given out through the app once results are ready, using the contact info registered. Organizers can do many tasks on their phones: set up tournament rules, open sign-ups, share links, manage spots and schedules, post results, and give out rewards.
Rules are clear on each page, with options to report problems or block users. Official tournament organizers are checked beforehand. People sign up with their phone number and connect their game account once, so their match history and rankings show up on their profile.
The app shows tournaments for ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’ and ‘Marvel Rivals,’ plus quick 3-minute chess matches. It’s not only for BGMI now but aims to be a platform for many different amateur competitions. KRAFTON said the app is for everyone from college festival organizers to top-ranked players. Before, small BGMI tournaments in India were run by outside groups.
When BGMI started in 2021, the first big official tournament was by a third-party site called Ultimate Battle. Details about teams and results were shared through WhatsApp, Telegram, and spreadsheets. KRAFTON handled some big tournaments like BGIS but didn’t control the smaller, everyday competitions players joined.
Battlin is trying to bring these small tournaments into KRAFTON’s own app. Since the people who run tournaments choose which games to show and how to organize them, having this app could help KRAFTON become more than just a game maker — it could become a main place for amateur esports in India.
KRAFTON has grown in India by getting more people to play and spend money. Reports say BGMI has been downloaded over 260 million times by early 2026, and the number of paying players went up 17% from last year.
